As Wilmington University continues its campus improvements program, it turned its attention the to the area along DuPont Highway, which is in effect the public face of the New Castle Campus. The project created a welcoming entrance which is more stately and distinctive, befitting a highly regarded University. For posterity’s sake, the original stone archway is being relocated to another location on campus.
