McDowell Hall is an academic building for the School of Nursing on the Campus of the University of Delaware in Newark. It was originally constructed in the late 1960’s.  In October of 2016 R G Architects was hired to completely renovate the Labor & Delivery Simulation Laboratory in Room 125.  As an on-call  term Architect for the University of Delaware, R G was chosen for their ability to quickly develop the required program with help of UD Staff, then immediately move into design and documentation of an approved solution accurately and ready for bidding in 4 weeks.  The goal was to construct the renovation during the winter break so that the students would have access to the renovated Lab starting in early February 2017.​
