Dew Point Brewing Company is located in a two-story building built in 1901 that served as the mechanics shop for the Garrett Snuff Mill, a historic snuff tobacco mill complex located at Yorklyn, Delaware.  The adaptive re-use of the building entailed sensitive treatment of various historic elements within the building, as well as a judicious approach to preserving the original fabric of the building.  A 2-hour fire separation at the floor structure was designed to be easily removed, allowing the structure return to its past with minimal effort.
